Surely your hard drive is 1TB not 1GB, don't think your computer, from your listed specifications could handle too many timelines
There are really more than enough tracks of all kinds for my needs.

Pinnacle Studio 26 handled the 6016x2560 file correctly displaying it as a 360. Export would use the same bitrate as the original file, 158Mb/s.
But it won't export at that resolution, only 4096x2048.

As for high bitrate videos, I shoot them in 4K 4:2:2 10bit. 8K? Not even on my radar. 4K isn't supported fully, and it's been available for years.

More tracks? How many is enough?

HDR10+ so I don't have to to move to different software. Any suggestions for VS alternative for HDR?

Hello friends

I'm sorry, I don't speak English well, I apologize if my sentences are incomprehensible.

Videostudio software has a number of basic problems, which I will say below:

1- Creating attractive animations for texts does not exist, and unfortunately, Corel has not added beautiful animations for texts for several years.

2- Sound and song editing in videostudio software is very weak. Also, when you activate the fade out option, the sound will be reduced by 36 decibels, if it should be reduced to infinite negative decibels. That's why when selecting the fade out option, it feels like the sound stops suddenly when the song ends.

3- The mask tool still has many limitations and they should add more features to this part.

4- Creating a path is beginner and unprofessional.

5- Accelerated movement for animation is limited (Ease in & Ease out) and has only 4 modes, which is better to increase this feature to 10 modes.

You are correct in all your points
This is why for only $100
1- Corel added better titles tools plugins with the "ultimate"
2 - many free proper sound editing software out there
3- Any better masks tools in same level NLE?
4,5 VS is just a tool the user makes it professional.

This is part of a 3min project with about 600 clips, overlays, masks, paths and text. It was done in VS X9 or was it X6 (not by me, I just reviewed it in X9 )
** I'm trying to located it in my archive
*** I had a mistake, this is the full project, ~250 clips

Hello asik1

I'm sorry, I don't speak English well, I apologize if my sentences are incomprehensible.

You have edited your message.
Yesterday you told me that videostudio software is not for professional users.
Currently, your words are correct, but in my opinion, Corel can develop the videostudio software in a way that is also suitable for professional users.

I currently have pinnacle studio 26 installed but I don't like pinnacle user interface at all.
Pinnacle Studio has more features but I have heard that this software crashes a lot.

I implement my ideas in videostudio software more easily.

Corel can transfer additional features of Pinnacle Studio to VideoStudio while maintaining the simplicity and user-friendliness of VideoStudio software.

Do you think that if videostudio's features become much higher, it is not worth paying more for the purchase of this software?

In my opinion, videostudio is the most beautiful and user-friendly video editing software in the world.

I hope that Corel will fix all the bugs and shortcomings of this software in the 2023 version of videostudio.

I am eagerly waiting for the release of version 26 (year 2023) of videostudio software.

your English is very well,
Don't expect too much of VS2023 as you will be disappointed. Pinnacle Studio is totally different so only very limited independent modules can be transferred to VS.
The bugs will always be a good part of VS as they are in any software.
I don't know what type of work you do with VS but only you is the professional and not the software.

I am currently on version X9 so this may have been incorporated in later versions.

It would be appreciated if the sliders that adjust Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast or Gamma of the clip had plus minus arrows instead of the tiny sensitive 'button' and the digits indicating the values were larger. The 'buttons' are so sensitive and th digits difficult to see at normal screen distance. Thank you.

Hello asik1

I hope there will be big changes in the 2023 version of the videostudio software.

One of the major problems of the videostudio software that I mentioned in the first post is related to the fade option in the sound mixer section.
The sound intensity level can be reduced by only 36 dB compared to the initial state.
I think this is a problem that Corel has not fixed for years.

Let me explain more.
Put a small piece of music in the timeline, then from the sound mixer, reduce the volume of the whole piece of music by 36 dB (-36), play the music again and turn up the volume on your computer speakers all the way, still You hear the sound of the music weakly.
I think this is a big problem because when you choose the fade in and fade out option, you feel that the music suddenly starts or stops.
Also, I have experience that when mixing several musics together, sometimes a disturbing noise is heard momentarily.

In my opinion, the solution to the above two problems is that when selecting the fade in option, the sound intensity level should start from negative infinity and also when selecting the fade out option, the sound intensity level should ends at negative infinity.

In other words, the sound intensity level instead of -36 dB should be negative infinity in terms of dB.

I hope Corel Corporation will solve this big problem in the sound mixer section for videostudio software in version 2023.

Yes Amir the -36db was reported for years, but as you see it still standing. I think it's since ULAED MS days and no one in Corel VS team know how to solve it today.
This is why we use a proper Audio editor like Audacity or Ocenaudio

Hello asik1

I do not agree with your opinion.
I mean, really, during all these years, a big corporation like Corel, with so many engineers and experts, has not been able to solve this problem in the sound mixer section?

I find your words illogical, because solving this problem is very simple and trivial.

I would like to have it to where all MP4 files & MOV files can be transparent.
I can make a glitch effect without having to download another program & hella edits. A Glitch effect like this https://youtu.be/z9uq8GC4Ezg?t=632.
