I own two old versions of Corel Painter : 12 and Essentials 7. (I also own 8 and 10 but I lost those CDs)
For some reason they can't start anymore, they crash...
In Windows journal I see that it is related to KernelBase.dll : (sorry it's in french)

I executed
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
and
sfc /scannow
but it did not find anything
I tried to copy KernelBase.dll from another computer, but this file is protected, I can't rename or delete it.
I reinstalled both Painter versions, as well as my graphic card drivers, DirectX, vc++ redistribuables 2008, 2010, 2013...
But they still won't start.
Can somebody help please ?
