Hi. I have joined because I wanted to upgrade from 2019 to 2022 and spoke to live chat which was a complete waste of time, but here's why.

The upgrade offer was half price and I caved in. Willing to spend the little money I have on the upgrade and hope that 2022 was a decent answer to the failures or 2019. I am an original JASC'er who used to do 1GB terrain maps for games back in the day and model texturing and so on. At this point of using 2019 for some time, the only real upside is being able to save bigger files, even though 2019 still gives memory warnings while I am running 64GB of ram.

After giving up on JASC PSP 9 and trying a plethora of other things, found I am too comfortable with the PSP layout and just dont have the urge to drop years of somewhat fluid use doing what I do. I am somewhat that fluid with 2019 but I am tired of some issues, like pressing CTRL to be able to colour-pick with the dropper. It works when it wants to.

I never once had to ask for support on 9 and started on 5. Getting an upgrade used to be a little exciting... now it's just a depressing 'god what will be the issues now?' I'm approaching 50 and truly, honestly ? don't have time to pay and help make by helping fix reporting errors and issues that might not get fixed etc etc. Been here too long to give away the little money I have to find it wasted and the recipient have not a care in the world about making it fair.....

So imagine my shock horror surprise when the day after seeing the 50% offer £34.99 (from £69.99) upgrade price, I got paid and went to buy it, to find the offer gone and support know nothing about it, nor can do anything about it. Asking me for a screenshot... like I was expecting the offer to be such a flash in the pan.

So while Corel is doing a billion things at once and focus, path and direction seem very ill thought out, is there any chance I will be waiting for the offer to come up again at whoever knows when to buy it or is there someone around here who can authorise the deal ?

i sound pee'd off right ? I've done my days of helping companies take my money and then spending time finding faults to help the lottery on them even trying to fix them and still wanting more money.

The saddest part, I know I can probably speed up the offer process by formatting and reinstalling everything and waiting a few months for it to come back. I'm not paying full £70 for the upgrade. I don't make money using this. I would like it to work but Corel isn't going to finish the product, like all other companies with complex programs.

Tired and wrote way too much. Knowing the chances are, this is pointless and I am pretty is in the wrong forum. Pfft.

I meant to add, I bookmarked the page for the following day when I got paid. As I say, it was a dead link by then.

What difference would it have made if I had took a screenshot ? I felt like I was being called a liar when they asked.

Now they have contacted me saying if I had a screenshot, they would have helped me.

So I am a liar and they obviously can't check that I am telling the truth.

That's disgusting. And zero support here.

I'm sorry bashment, but this is a user to user forum and has little to do with Corel as such. None of us here work for Corel. We are just here to help out other users having problems.

As such, we have no control whatsoever over the prices Corel issues for its products from time to time. And you would probably find here any number of other users who have bought the same product for a wide variety of prices. It's a common complaint. But at the same time, there is nothing much we can do here apart from either not buying the product at all, or accepting a price when it is offered.

And yes, I realize that in itself is the basis of your complaint, but unless someone else saw that same advertisement as you, and bought it at that time and acknowledged that here, again I can only say there is nothing that we can do here to help you...

As a moderator here you have a connection to someone who does work for the company and I am pretty you should be escalating the way this has been handled, as appalling. Effectively being called a liar because I don't have a screenshot and DENIED to deal.

Guess what..... it came up again. And now I do have a screen shot.

I hate being treated like a liar. I am now supposed to give the company treating me like a liar, money.
