saving photo

just got aftershot pro3. it did a great job removing noise on a raw cr2 canon file
but there is no save or save as command.
i tried using the export command to save it as a tiff but when i opened the photo in file explorer or photoshop elements all the noise was back! it was the unedited file.
so i tried the button to send to photoshop elements for further editng BUT AGAIN the original unretouched file was opened.

so, bottom line: after im done editing a photo, what do i do to save it.
im not interested in batch processing, unless i have to.

You have to select images you want to save and export them to another folder.
