Hi,
I have a brand new Canon RP. It seems that Aftershot Pro 3 cannot open the new Canon CR3 format.
Is there a milestone on the Aftershot 3 Pro roadmap to support CR3 files?
Thx

Re: CR3 Support
Its a little disappointing that there is no support for cr3 files. Considering the file type was introduced by canon over 1 year ago. A lot of photo software vendors trying to convince customers to abandon Lightroom are now pushing customers back to adobe due to the lack of cr3 support. Corel have not even acknowledged that there is an issue. Very disappointed.

Re: CR3 Support
i opened a ticket because I wanted to find out about support for CR3 and a 90D. After going a few rounds with offshore support trying to get the person to understand what i was asking, he pretty much gave up and said no new canon cameras would be supported. Not sure he understood still what i was asking and due to the poor English maybe he meant something else. But given the Digic 8 processor has already out there for a while (and now the Digic 9) I question
If maybe he's right?

Re: CR3 Support
I ended up switching to ON1 2020. Much better tool and workflow. I'll use PSP if I need to some detailed editing but ON1 pretty much handles everything I've thrown at it when compared to ASP 3

Re: CR3 Support
I wish I can work with CR3 file within Aftershot Pro3 without a need to use Canon Digital Photo Professional software.

DPP is much better with Canon files than AfterShot Pro - and it isn't abandonware, either.

Re: CR3 Support
CR3 files are supported. You need to download and install the camera profile from the Corel site:
https://learn.corel.com/aftershot-pro-downloads/
Scroll down to camera profiles. Download the file for Canon or whatever camera you have. Unzip the file into your plugins folder for Aftershot. Open Aftershot and go to file/install camera. It should automatically navigate to your plugins folder. Select your camera. Install. Restart Aftershot.
You should be able to open those CR3 files now.
