Hi All
The Use OpenCL option under hardware acceleration is greyed out and there's no graphics cards listed. I know that it USED to work, so I'm unsure what's different, unless something in recent nVidia drivers changed.
I have done a graphics driver update, and also uninstalled/reinstalled ASP.
I'm using a nVidia GTX 1070 with the latest nVidia drivers, on Win 10, ASP 3.5.0.350 x64
Anyone with similar issues?

Yes, same problem, only solution to return to outdated Nidia driver versions. Look at viewtopic.php?f=90&t=64697#p363761.

Re: HW Acceleration OpenCL greyed out - latest nVidia driver
I replaced the OpenCL.dll version found in folders Corel\Corel Aftershot Pro 3( 64-bit)\build and Corel\Corel Aftershot Pro 3( 64-bit)\HDR with a newer version (OpenCL64.dll) that comes with your GFX card driver you can find extracted as OpenCL.dll in the folder Windows/System32. So, just copy the new OpenCL.dll into the mentioned Corel folders. That worked for me!

Re: HW Acceleration OpenCL greyed out - latest nVidia driver
Well, don't get too excited. My apologies, I'm afraid the success is just superficial. I just did some batch conversion tests with 30 raw files and I didn't notice any speed improvement with OpenCL enabled. It seems that Corel's implementation of OpenCL doesn't go well with the newer OpenCL version. It's a shame that Corel doesn't seem to care, this problem has been around for quite some time.billlagr wrote:Yep, worked a treat - Thanks Wilbur!

Hey - thanks for this!! Same issue here, but by replacing the mentioned files, the option is now available.
