How can Nikon D60 NEF files be imported to AfterShot Pro 3?
Install camera... goes to an empty directory and searching the Internet is not resulting in any downloads; just references to the cameras that can be used with the product.

Re: Nikon D60
go to the directory where your .Nef-Files are stored (memory card?) - there you should see the picture and should be able to download them to your computer hard-disk and if you want to use the catalog-mode to import it to a catalog - see also the descriptions in the User Guide (https://www.aftershotpro.com/en/product ... /#learning) and here: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=44941&p=237131&hil ... ow#p237131 and here: viewtopic.php?f=95&t=46386&start=0
The (older) D60 should be supported by default no need to download a (new) camera-profile

Re: Nikon D60
Windows 10 File Explorer lists the files on the camera from where they can be transferred to a local drive and processed to TIF files by Qimage. They can be opened as regular TIF files at that point.
PaintShop lists the camera and the files but after the files are selected returns error message "Command could not complete because the document type is unsupported".
AfterShot doesn't list the camera but they can be moved in Windows to a local directory. Importing from the local directory gives no error messages and returns no processed files.
The D60 is used for creating simple references for painting, I would prefer not replacing it unnecessarily. Going back to Qimage for importing and processing is cumbersome, I would prefer to use it just for printing.
Thank you.

Re: Nikon D60
Everything is working fine here.
Downloaded the .nefs from https://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/ ... WINDEX.HTM
Can open and work with it without any problem.

Re: Nikon D60
Unfortunately I was trying to process files from my camera rather than those from the Internet.
Now I just process them through Qimage and open them with Painter or PaintShop and that works well.
Thanks

Re: Nikon D60
It should be the same filetype! If you would upload a .nef to dropbox where I can download it I would test it - but if you are happy as it is - its fine too.

Re: Nikon D60
The system I'm using now is working very well. I was thinking there might be more integration changing things a bit but a small adjustment in that thinking has eliminated any requirement for change.
Thanks Again...
