ASP 3 With New iPhone RAW (DNG)
I was hoping Aftershot Pro 3 would be able to work with the new DNG files that can be produced in iOS 10 since DNG is supposed to be an open standard, however when I try to import these into the photo library Aftershot doesn't display them for import. If I go to the file system browser the DNG files are displayed but if I select one to import nothing happens. Am I missing something? or will I have to wait for an update to support iPhone version of DNG? (Currently using the 30 day trial)

Re: ASP 3 With New iPhone RAW (DNG)
Same here! I can open the dng's in Paintshop Pro X9 and a advertising pop up appears saying that I can buy Aftershot Pro 3 for RAW processing. Unfortunately I already have Aftershot Pro 3 (Last version update!), but it is impossible to import or look at a DNG file from HTC 10. This is pathetic because it's the most common file extension there is.

Is Apple DNG still unsupported?

4 months and a new iOS later; we're still waiting for an answer.

Similar issue here. I have an HTC 10 and the files will not open in aftershot 3, but they do open in PSP x9.

I also can't open .DNG's - but these are created with a DJI drone - they won't open in ASP but DO open in PSP 2018...
I'm thinking perhaps the .DNG support isn't too great

Re: ASP 3 With New iPhone RAW (DNG)
The After shot Pro 3 is not working on my iPhone XS and I have tried to make the app run properly but it is not running properly on the iPhone. I have used it while connecting it to the iTunes but after the ios version update, it is giving iTunes error 9 on the ASP3

Re: ASP 3 With New iPhone RAW (DNG)
It's not working on my iPhone 6S/iOS 12.4 either, but that's no surprise. Aftershot Pro 3 (and Aftershot Pro 2 before it) have never offered me the opportunity to import RAW files from my iPhone - not once.
There's no plug-in for my digital camera either (Panasonic Lumix DMC-LF1, which has been around for over 5 years). At least there, the images aren't locked into the creating software; I can mount the storage card on the computer and import that way. But the casual approach to importing from widely distributed RAW capture devices makes me think AFP may have been a waste of money. As much as I hate the idea of being hostage to Adobe's subscription model, at least I know that Lightroom can get the RAWs off my gadgets.

Re: ASP 3 With New iPhone RAW (DNG)
I too have tried importing DNG files into ASP 3.6 – mine are created from an app on iPhone 7 Plus.
After some tinkering, here are some findings that may (or not) be interesting to some:
. The .dng files generated by several (free) iOS camera apps I tried are all not readable by ASP.
. All these apps generate .dng files that are Tiled – this is reported as an error by ASP in a log file:
....... 9220.624: DNG Lens Model: "iPhone 7 Plus back camera 3.99mm f/1.8"
....... 9220.627: BError: type = 1031, "Tiled DNGs are not supported." in file ..\src\cameras\DngReader.cpp:862
. Pentax DNG files, which work in ASP, appear to be non-tiled (ExifTool info)
. Adobe’s (batch) DNG Converter (Windows) can be used to convert my iOS DNG files to Uncompressed DNGs. This will export files that are not Tiled, but are about twice the size as the original. However, they can be read by ASP, after some workarounds.

. Using the ASP UI, I installed a Camera Profile for Ricoh GR II – I will never use this camera, but am using the profile as a template since it handles DNG files.
. I modified 2 XML files (Info.afpxml, lens-profile.xml) in (Windows 10) folder:
C:\users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\Corel\AfterShot Pro 3\Cameras (64-bit)\ricoh_gr_ii.afcamera
. I batch convert my iOS DNG files using Adobe DNG Converter, with these preferences:
Preferences > Compatibility > Custom … >
Backward Version DNG 1.4
Linear: Not checked
Uncompressed: Checked
. Modifications to XML files, from (*nix) diff command:
# diff Info.afpxml{.orig,}

Re: ASP 3 With New iPhone RAW (DNG)
Fortunately I have an CS6 which is untethered from the Adobe Cloud. I use camera raw. Can't use Aftershot Pro3 for IOSDNGs but I can use an old Abobe product how about that?
