I have always been a faithful Paint Shop Pro user. I used 9 for years, and up until a few months ago, felt no need for change. When I loaded it up, it crashed and then didn't come back. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still will not work. So I put in X3, and it crashes when it loads the palette. I can put it in compatibility mode and it won't load at all. I tried X2 and it crashes in the same place.
Has anyone run into this problem before?
Help! I'm completely lost without PSP's image sorting abilities. I guess an old dog can't learn new tricks. No other program does what it did.

I have been having the same problem
, uses the x2 until for one week in which that problem began, updates to X3 and the problem follows equal, everything began after the W7 installed updates of security and of visual studio tools, already installs and desinstale and follows without working. Please, excuse my English, is some forum for the users in Spanish?

Hello Naiadelle and mamagallo,
Please keep in mind that PSP X2 is not compatible with Windows 7. But if you are using PSP X3, I would suggest that you download all updates to make sure that this is not caused by an outdated software.
You can visit http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 9872271743 for all the PSP X3 update.

Re: All Paint Shop Pro interations crash on Win7
Abiel thanks, but of as much fighting end up finding the problem
. This it had to that it unmarks protexislicensing of msconfig when estube cleaning the starting of my PC since the beginning was very slow and like in the description of the manufacturer decia " deconocido" the distancing and when reinitiating the PC after an update of the W7, paintshop was annulled and for that reason it failed, Corel would have to properly identify the entrances of his programs in msconfig to avoid these errors caused by his users;). On the other hand I assure to you that the x2 works very well in the W7 perhaps although a little slower loads the great archives, this weekend I reinstate the X3, thanks for your answer, please, excuse my English.
