I have to say - I upgraded to ASP3 - not really happy with all of it - but ASP is the right road ...
I have attached some examples.
Photivo still has the best developement
But ASP 3 - does it better than ASP 2 ...
Still a long way to go - but thing are getting better.
I would not recommend ASP (too many crashes to many unsolved problems), but for me it is still the the best tool for many pictures - for the others I use photivo ...

ASP 3.0.0.148 hotfix should resolve that issue.
