hannes_hab,
I asked a similar question on the ASP blog and got this answer (scroll down for the comments):

(This was on September, 2nd)We’re working with the volunteer plugin developer who owns the code for the series of “z” plugins, including zPerspector, zFrame and others to have them recompiled so you can use them in ASP 2.2 and up. Stay tuned, we’re hoping to have an update on this front soon!

Re: zText
Please Help.
I am a fairly new user to ASP (64bit). I've only been using it now for about 6-7 months. During this time I have been exporting as .tiff and then adding a watermark via another program. I have been getting very tired of this extra step; especially when sometimes I am looking at over 100 images. Yes, I know they can be done in batches, but the watermark is not always wanted in the same location making batch watermarking difficult and tedious.
Today I discovered zText. What a great idea I thought (asides from it only allowing one line of text) so I went ahead and installed it. I should note here that I have all 64bit plugins available installed.
Install was perfect.
Then it happened......
I attempted to add text with the plugin and ....... CRASH!
Upon reloading I chose "Resume" and it immediately CRASHED again right after ASP finished loading.
Upon reloading ASP again this time I didn't chose "Resume" and it started fine.
I then attempted to add text with the plugin again. This time the text appeared where I wanted it but then...... CRASHED
Now every time I open ASP and click on "ANYTHING" it immediately Crashes......
I have not done anything further from this point as, like I said before, I am very new to ASP.
I wanted to get Public opinions/comments/log requests, etc... first...
Thanks in advance.

Re: zText
zText works fine here ( I had problems some time ago, but I don't really know what was the special situation he causes the crashes - maybe deleting the cache folder helps ...). But I have generally problems with the latest ASP version concerning crashes and stability. Sometimes switching off open CL in the preferences helps ...
" ... asides from it only allowing one line of text ..."
You can have different lines and fonts/styles/settings by adding layers like text_01, text_02 an so on. You also may save presets to create this layers with text and IPTC Data.

Re: zText
Deleting the cache has had no effect. This is the first time ASP has ever crashed on me at all. Using the newest version. I know that Open CL is off (greyed out on my system) and even if it wasn't I can't get to it any way for as soon as I click anything at all inside ASP it crashes.
In regards to multiple lines of text --> Thanks for the info. I likely didn't find this due to the crashes happening before I had a chance. Good to know how to do it moving forward though in case I ever get ASP to work again.

Re: zText
I don't know - but maybe its about fonts or font-names or specific text or specific setting?
