Please advise how I can find and change the text default settings in Motion Studio 3D.
When I add a new text object it always starts with the same color, bevel, shadow, etc and I would like to reset them to my own default preferences.

And welcome to the forums.
Not sure that you can change the default templates.
But after creating your own text simply add to the easy palette.
You can then use again changing the text but retaining the attribute settings
