Which one is the best os?
1.Windows 7
2.Windows xp

That depends very much on your definition of "best" - best for what ?

since Windows XP is very old in computer terms I suppose you could say Win 7 was best since it is newer - I guess if you asked Microsoft they would say Windows 7 is best of course it's newer and more up to date - but some Win 7 users would disagree.

If you want to run VideoStudio V11 then Windows XP could be said to be 'best' - but if you want to run the latest versions like X4 or X5 then Windows 7 is best.

If you could give us your definition of 'Best' someone may be able to give you a more definitive answer.

The OS alone does not make any sense if you want video ; you need to precise your Video card , your processor at least ; otherwise the question has virtually no meaning ; you may have Windows 7 and still meet problems of any kind .

Windows 7 is always preferable as it is newer and is not the resource hog that Vista was.
This is why many manufacturers put Windows 7 onto netbooks.
XP is pretty much solid as an operating system and is not a bad route if you want to install it, but for me it would always be Windows 7 due to the fact that Microsoft will always put their latest OS first in development and security.

Hmm... but in effect Windows 7 is now two operating systems out of date since the advent more than a year ago of Windows 8, and now Windows 8.1...
