but zText stops working in the beta 1.1.0.28
or at least in export no text on picture , but seeing in the picture before export.

Same problem with zFrame and zShadow. You see it ok on the screen, but nothing in outputfile.

you're right... additionally zSoften does also not work.
only zChannelMixer and zPerspector do work of my plugins.
i'll now try to dig in that more deeply...

hi,

looks like corel changed somthing in the image pipeline.
there is now a pipe stage called "WorkingToMonitor" placed before my plugins (you may check this through looking in th AfterShotPro.log file). this pipe stage had been behind the plugins in the former versions. so i think i will release some updates soon that adapt the pipe stage placements of the affected plugins ( 'soon' means that i will start highly probably thursday with the first plugin, no time tomorrow).

hi,

i just updated zShadow as the first plugin. with this update zFrame and zSoften should already work again. this comes from the fact that both plugin zFrame and zSoften refer on zShadow if it present. only if zShadow is not installed zFrame and zSoften will not work, yet.
so if you have zFrame or zSoften but not zShadow you could either wait some more days until i updated them as well or you install zShadow in the meanwhile

Have you thought about providing support for asPluginManager as part of these updates? It's not much code and fairly simple.

i did - and i think i will implement it with the next updates. now i just wanted to roll out the fix for the pipeline issue as quick as possible.

jokes aside... you are probably right. do you still have version 2.2.0 of zText for your 1.0.1 version of asp?
i'll fix that as a new version of zText v2.3.1 very soon - then it should work with both.
