Creating a ghost in my animation

Post by superquiet »

I want an object to move accross the screen and leave a ghost image in a few spots as it moves accross the screen.
Does anyone know if GIF animator can do this? If so I cannot figure it out.

Thanks for any help.

Sorry for the late reply... haven't been poking my nose in here much of late.

Yes, it's possible. But it's not a "one button" click - it's quite manual. To get the result you're wanting, you'd have to create a duplicate of the object in question (or possibly a few duplicates). Position it where you want the ghost, and adjust the transparency of the object, increasing the transparency in subsequent frames.
