Windows 7
I am running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate and my copy of Photo Express 6 now just hangs on start up. Is there any fix for running with windows 7?

Re: Windows 7
Not really since it is a phased-out/no longer supported by Corel product. Does your version of Win7 have the ability to set Compatibility Mode? If so set your PhotoExpress to run as Win XP.

Re: Windows 7
You're statement is not entirely correct. When Corel releases a program they do, like any other, support it for a reasonable amount of time. This continues for a time after the next newer release. Generally after 2 more newer releases, or they just stop producing it, they will stop supporting the older programs. There's several reasons for this, one being the newer operating systems being released. It seems with each new OS, there are so many drastic changes taking place, that software developers would go bankrupt trying to update all their old programs.
There are some of the older programs that were developed by Ulead before Corel acquired them, that have been reported to work not only on Vista, but Win7. There's nothing promised or guaranteed, but sometimes it pays off to try. I know I can get Ulead Cool3D Production Studio and MediaStudio Pro 8 to run on Vista, and both were not designed to do so. We have a forum on this web board for information regarding running various Corel/Ulead programs on Vista and Win7, found at the following link..http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewforum.php?f=52
