mustek scanner-photo express5 SE

I am far less sophisticated in terms of computer knowledge than many posting. I work on a G5 mac(OS X) and just bought a mustek scanner. The driver appeared to install fine, but when I put the PE disc in, it fails to launch. Any ideas or suggestions?!

Welcome to the forums,

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the program is not designed to work on the Mac platform, just windows..
