.DNG support for DJI Mavic Pro and raw images from DJI?
Hello,
I have a great drone called the DJI Mavic Pro. It takes incredible 4k video and native .DNG raw files. Unfortunately, when I try to open a .DNG file from the DJI Mavic Pro on Aftershot Pro 3, nothing happens. Nothing pulls up.
I understand that Corel would need to add support for these files. Can this be done? If so, how can I help?
Thank you,
Chad

No its not supported.
I've have the same problem. I contact Corel support and they asked for a DNG image so they could look into it. Never heard anything back, so no support for the DNGs.
All DJI images work on photoshop.

Same issue - AfterShot won't open .DNG's from a Phantom 3 either.

So just to follow up. I have been in contact with tech support, and at first the reply was "Your camera is not supported", which I pointed out that DNG is an open, hardware independent format, and attached a screen shot of the Corel web site where it very specifically says,. DNG supported. The response was "We support DNG but just not your DNG".
I'm strongly considering putting in a complaint to our Australian Competition and Consumer Council, Corel are pretty much breaching Australian law by advertising a feature of a product but not actually suporting it. And since they're selling the product here, they need to adhere to the laws here.

Just purchased AfterShot Pro 3.0 only to find out I might as well have flushed that money down the toilet, won't open .DNG files from the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom.

There is also a question how DJI defined the DNG files. Such things happened in the past very often, that under the same name there were many different versions ( look just the xls/csv files, every application has its own dialect.
)
I know a program where I can export the data in csv format, but the import function of the same program refuses to import the csv file back into the application.

Hi--
If this is a camera compatibility issue, you would need to fill out the request form located here - https://www.aftershotpro.com/en/feedback/?lang=en
Once the information is gathered, the developers can then work to create a camera profile for the drone's imaging.
In the interim, if you have the ability to use the Drone's software, if applicable, you can save out the images to JPEG format, to which Aftershot can then open and help with processing.

To their credit, I requested a refund and they gave it to me. I know, this was my fault for not getting into the details before purchasing to ensure my specific camera was supported, but I do very much appreciate them making it right with me.

Re: .DNG support for DJI Mavic Pro and raw images from DJI?
I just reached out to Corel to offer them the DJI Mavic Pro camera specs. Hopefully they'll accept the offer and create an AfterShot 3 camera profile for it.
Re: .DNG support for DJI Mavic Pro and raw images from DJI?
Amazed to discover today that I can open DJI Mavic Air .dng images in PaintShop Pro, but not in AfterShot 3. I find that funny since AfterShot's claim to fame is processing RAW files.
@Auz's suggestion to save DJI .dng images to JPEG and then process them in AfterShot seems to be missing the point of using RAW image files in the first place. Unless I'm missing the point...

save dng to tiff 16 bit would be the better advice ... (if quality is relevant)
