ASP 2.2.0.29 X64 Nikon coolpix P330 not supported yet -
posted the problem 7 month ago - but unfortunately nothing happened ...
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 30#p296292
But now I can tell the P 330 raw file that it should be a P 7800 - and the ugly green colours are gone!
But why is it so hard for corel to solve known problems?
I really don't want to change the model type with exif tool for a camera that corel this is supported.
I have - sometimes - problems this slightly green pictures also with my nikon coolpix P6000 and sometimes also with my D 7000 - but then they are only slghtly green - but the coolpix p330 cannot be used with the ASP rendering!
Has nobody else noticed the color problem with nikon coolpix P330 pictures?

Re: ASP 2.2 Nikon P330 not supported yet ... but P7800 is ok
Oh. Me too. I have Nikon D3300. it looks very similar to yours. Very green.
I have posted many issue on this forum. But it seems that Corel not care that.
u can see my topic : http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=56618
BTW: if u are using linux as well, plz use darkable to open your NEF file and convert to TIFF(although it is very large about more than 100Mb per-photo)
But it looks very correctly.
I do not want say ASP is suck, because it is very easily to use. but i must say attitude of resolving bug by Corel company is very suck!
If u r in windows, OK, plz use Lightroom,u have no reason to use this product which can not open some models of NEF correctly.

Re: ASP 2.2 Nikon P330 not supported yet ... but P7800 is ok
I really like ASP/Bibble - but some things including quality of colors and noise reduction were better in the past (and/or Bibble days).
Corel says the support coolpix P330 - but with totally wrong colors this does not make sense.
Corel says one of the difference between ASP 2 and ASP 2 pro is that ASP 2 pro supports watched folders - but ASP removed watched folders that were supported by Bibble 5 and did not supply a new solution.
Personally I don't like darktable - if I am not satisfied with the ASP result (highlight-recovery / rendering of sky) I use photivo.
With photivo tools I get much better highlight recovery on difficult pictures (and much better Pseudo-HDR too) - save 16 bit tiffs and finish in ASP.
Now many plugins are lost ...
Its hard to love ASP

Yep.To be honest. ASP2 is very powerful.
The only BUG is for reading some models of Nikon DLSR.

Re: ASP 2.2 Nikon P330 not supported yet ... but P7800 is ok
So I can confirm that this is indeed the case. In low light situations the color from my p330 is terrible in aftershot 2.2.1. The interesting thing is that if I go directly to Paintshop Pro, it will quite correctly display the color of the raw file. This is indeed a bad bug and means that the p330 continues to be a difficult camera to use with this software. The reason that I bring up Paintshop Pro, is that whatever is being used there obviously works. You would think Corel would be able to get cameras working properly over both of their software programs.

Re: ASP 2.2 Nikon P330 not supported yet ... but P7800 is ok
I opened incident 02370298 for the p330. It has just now been transferred to engineering. I would recommend that anyone else that has this problem open an incident as well.

Re: ASP 2.2 Nikon P330 not supported yet ... but P7800 is ok
hannes_hab, sorry for the late reply. I am just now seeing your question. I opened an incident via an e-mail form on their support website. The guy originally just wanted to get me to reload a new version, but I used rather strong language with him(not profanity or anything) and asked him to take it seriously. After that I sent them a couple of raw photos. They waited an extremely long time and then told me that it was being sent to engineering.
Well, I can confirm that 2.2.2 does not include a fix for this sadly. I just complained on their facebook page. I can't believe that they continue to support this software in this way. I'm not sure how much more patience I have.

Re: ASP 2.2 Nikon P330 not supported yet ... but P7800 is ok
yes I tried it too, I bought the upgrade last year because of the nikon coolpix P330 and because I hoped that some plugins (GradFilter ...) will work again.Well, I can confirm that 2.2.2 does not include a fix for this sadly
Now I work with ASP 2.1.2.10 because of missing plugins in ASP 2.2.2.
Concerning nikon coolpix P330: one year of wrong colors ...
I really don't know why they cannot fix it.
