Hello,
I didn't know where to post this...
Since I have problems with the latest version, I am still using the previous 2.1.2.10 x64, but this happened with previous ones too.
On my Ubuntu machine, if I display full screen (F11 key), then :
a) the menus are not active anymore, ie clicking on Fichier, ..., Aide will not drop down unless I first click on some menu within the working area (cataog, etc.)
b) when I try and click onto one of the three vertical left tabs (Bibliothèque, Système de fichiers, Sortie), then it lauches the application that is at the place on the (invisible at this moment) lauch bar at the left of the screen on the desktop.
Maybe do I forgot to do something ? An idea about what this could be ?
Regards,
J.-Luc

Which desktop do you use? (XFCE/Unity?)
Which graphic card? Did you change the driver for the graphic card?
Regards
Ulf

@uri2510 : It is a Dell E4300 laptop with Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset.
I recently reintalled 14.04 from scratch to ensure all would be OK.
I display on a LG 32" TV at 1920x1080. The video cable has all its pins wired.
I didn't modify anything.

Re: Ubuntu 14.04 : Full screen menus problem
good to hear, try to find out, whether there is a intel graphics driver for your card. (Should be in Accessories - drivers). If there is one install it.I didn't modify anything.
That would be your way to find out which driver you use:
Terminal:
inxi -G
tells you the name and version of your driver. The nouveau driver is not good for photoediting and has some problems with as2
