OpenCL crashes in AfterShot2 (Linux 64 bit)

Post by txoni »

The application is very unstable when OpenCL is enabled. I even tried pointing it towards the system libopenCL but that didn't help.

Running with Nvidia driver version 331.38, old gpu GeForce 8500GT

What level of OpenCL has been set in the hardware acceleration option in the preferences?
I have not ad crashes with OpenCL but rather nasty image content messups already at standard levels. I had to go to low to make OpenCL not mess up the images.
At the moment I have switched off OpenCL completely in AS2.

cheers

Thanks for pointing that out. I had lowered it to "low" which did not help but it seems that reducing it to "minimum" as you said, so far it is running stable. Thanks!
