After posting on the Corel facebook page they answered me with this:

Hello Per,

AfterShot is still a supported program, which would include regular patches and updates - I do not have a specific timetable on release dates, but the latest patch can be accessed at the link below, and was released December 20th.

As for the plugin site and the in-program update issue, thank you for the heads up! We will certainly look into what is happening to those!

To be fair to Trucks, there is another statement from "Adam, Corel Support" only 19 hours ago saying that the "dev team is certainly still active". Not to generate too much hope, new or otherwise. But that statement should be enough to entitle any new licensees to a refund, if there are no more releases after 1.1.1.10.

Could you ask them how big that "product team" actually is?

I am making no judgements here but I have not heard from one beta tester that they have actually seen anything at all for months...
