Re: There is a changeover in management for PSP
Corel has been taking some heat on the PSP side for bugs that are several versions long (sound familiar). Corel responded back that they are currently undergoing a management change for PSP (I believe this involves Craig) and responses may be slow in coming until the changes are fully implemented... I then asked if this meant changes for ASP as well and have not heard back yet.

Re: There is a changeover in management for PSP
This is a quote from JenT in Corel Your Way regarding the management changes including a response to my question about Craig:
I did want to inform everyone that there is a changeover in management for PSP (for the better I think).
...
Craig is still here and he is consulting with the new Management team about how things should be done - he's very optimistic about it all.

Re: There is a changeover in management for PSP- PSP X5 Suck
I'm VERY familiar with the bugs in PSP X5 Ultimate. I've spent hours on the phone with tech support. Corel released two hotfixes for X5 and my copy still crashes or fails to load some modules. I finally asked for a refund, since I was within the 30 day refund period. Haven't heard back about the refund yet, but we'll see.kaymann wrote:Corel has been taking some heat on the PSP side for bugs that are several versions long (sound familiar). ....

Re: There is a changeover in management for PSP
Corel has answered the question:
Yes, ASP has changed hands as well. I have not seen the road map for ASP yet but I know that the team is pushing to keep it updated and add new features too.
I will keep you in the loop

Well since ASP hasnt had any updates for new cameras for nearly a year it will need to go into supercharged fast forward mode.kaymann wrote:Corel has answered the question:

It doesnt need additional features it just needs update of the RAW support and fixing of the current bugs plus maybe updating the interface to make the workflow a little slicker (that is just moving icons on the inteface).

exactly what I'd wish for. Get the current Features to top quality, and then start adding new ones.

Re: There is a changeover in management for PSP
Well, from what we've seen so far, the new guys seem to have the same attitude as the old ones.
Where would then change come from?
cheers
