Re: Introduce yourself to other members in this thread.
Hey my creative colleagues! I am new here at these forums but not new at all to Paint Shop Pro.
I've been using PSP 9 (not Corel 9 but Jasc 9) until just a few months ago I upgraded to 2020. I've been holding off because I knew I'd lose my plugins (EyeCandy and some others), I thought I'd lose all my tubes, frames, gradients, patterns, etc which I've made and acquired over the years of using PSP. I've been a die hard PSP user, never have I ever invested in Photoshop nor would I. I would use something free before giving Adobe any money. I used PSP almost from it's inception, but not quite. In it's very beginning days, I was still a Commodore user vowing I'd never use a "IBM" (which is what we referred to the "other side" as.) But, there I was, not having a choice but to get a IBM compatible PC, and I felt ok to do that since it was not an actual "IBM" LOL. Hated Windows at first and would not use it; I'd stick with my MS-DOS, thank you very much. But I found myself eventually in need of a graphics editing program and JASC PSP 4 was what I started with via Windows 95. I was using JASC PSP 9 up until I bought 2020 a few months ago. I learned I could still use my files, haven't been able to use my plugins though. I've literally got so many tubes, frames, patterns, gradients, masks etc that I had to buy a new drive to add into my new laptop a couple weeks ago. 99% are from my JASC days though. I have no seen people sharing their masks, tubes etc. they make like was done back in the JASC days.
I personally do a lot of designing and stuff for Sims 4 game. I build houses in game, and decorate with decor I've created in PSP. I do not charge for my creations. I'm also wanting to learn to make videos as well with my own graphics.
So that's me.
Nice to meet y'all!

I'm not a professional photographer or digital artist but I've been using Paintshop Pro for a few years now.
