We have no idea here. Most tools only get minor updates if they get any at all. I imagine they have plans several years out that are influenced by user input (surveys, social media, the forum, phone calls, etc.) and they prioritize based on what's most popular and requested.

After working in "overlay" I often need to eliminate/reintroduce parts using the "plus" or "minus", via the "white" mode (easier to see). However, irrespective of the brush size there are parts getting treatment other than the one I want to adjust. Sorry if this description seems a bit elaborated.
Is there a way to overcome this?
