Hey there. I've got an issue I can't seem to resolve. I've got a Logitech Trackman M570 mouse. It's got Forward and Back buttons. I've used the software to set a keystroke for the Forward button to Shift+Alt+Backspace and the Back button to Alt+Backspace. I've also tried Ctrl+Alt+Z and Ctrl+Z. I've done this set to PSP specifically. I've also tried both generally (not specific to PSP). Nothing seems to work. It used to work a couple years ago, I had assumed that the mouse was getting old then but now I have a brand new mouse (same model) and it's still refusing to work. The Fwd / Back buttons work on web browsers so I know the buttons are working. These buttons used to work in PSP, it was a real timesaver.
I'm running Windows 10
PSP X8, X9, 2019
Any ideas? I've already tried enabling and disabling pressure support for puck type pointers.

Hello df,
which software are you using to configure your mouse buttons? I have a Logitech Marathon M705, also with Back and Forth button. I only have the Unifying-Software and a Mouse and Keyboard Settings tool, but both do not allow customizing the mouse buttons.
Friendly greetings,
Ravelli

Logitech SetPoint software to customize mice/keyboards latest version is 6.70.55, dated 2020-12-16
I have the M560 and M705, and the software works for both.

Good luck.

Re: Mouse Back/Forward buttons refusing to work
Many thanks, Forriner!
I checked my system and found the SetPoint software installed, but I installed the update now. At the end of installation it told me, SetPoint does not support customizing my M705, but I should install SetPoint Options in addition. Which I did - a 200 MB file. But it does work now, and I got the Forward and Backward button customized as wished above by df, and it works fine in my PSP 2021 - I guess it is the same with previous versions. Here a screenshot: https://snipboard.io/5T4jMO.jpg
Download of SetPoint Options: https://support.logi.com/hc/de/articles/360025297893
(side note: At the end of SetPoint Options installation they asked me to login into the Logitech cloud to store my settings. I was able to cancel that by clicking the X in the corner.)

Re: Mouse Back/Forward buttons refusing to work
Thanks for the replies. I do have the latest versions of the software. Could it possibly be that the SetPoint software is 64 bit and I'm trying to use it on the 32 bit version of PSP? My computer is 64 bit but none of the plugins I use regularly work on 64 bit PSP, which is a shame. You'd think by now they'd figure this out.
Regards, Dan
