Problem With Airbrush
thought I had a problem with my airbrush, but was glad to find I had not noticed that my "jitter" settings (hidden in a sub-menu) were non-zero. Fixed my issue.

Hit F11 key and verify in the Brush Variance window if Position jitter is set to 0. A value above 0 produces the same effect seen on your image.
