Hello everyone!
Some stock photo sites like Shutterstock have started rejecting paintings and illustrations produced from photographs using software like Painter and Painter essentials. There reason is stated "Unacceptable Auto Trace: Complex auto-traced illustrations are unacceptable." Further research reveals that files produced is this manner are extremely difficult to edit, according to Shutterstock. They say that they have received complaints from purchasers who try and edit the files after they download them.
Does anyone here know about this? Is there a way around it? I have been using Painter Essentials 7 to produce illustrations from photos (brought in a JPEG files, and exported as Jpeg files).
