Apply tool missing.

The toolbar with the Apply tool on it is missing. How do I get it back?

Do you mean the Apply button for tools that require it (like for example the Object Remover tool)?
That button is on the Tool Options palette if the selected tool requires it. (F4 or View/Palettes/Tool Options [from the Complete Workspace menu]).
To view a toolbar/palette, Complete workspace, View/Toolbars -or- View/Palettes > and click the one you want.

If you click the one you want but can't see it on screen in the Complete workspace try : File/Preferences/Reset Preferences... > Make all toolbars/palettes visible and on screen.

Thanks for your reply. Another person suggested that I was using the essential workspace rather than the complete. When I changed to the complete most of my problems went away. I'm having problems with docking palettes and toolbars right now. I'm going to describe them in a new topic.
