I load occasionally big *.png pictures into PSP X2.
Resolution could be a height with up to 32000 pixels.
I add and modify some content and want to save it afterwards.
Now sometimes I get a warning popup that there is not enough memory for this operation (see attached snapshot).
Hmm, does that mean not enough memory in RAM or on hard disk?
I cannot believe this for both.
On my hard disk there are at least 100 GB available and I have 16 GB RAM memory on my mainboard.
Only a few programs with low ressource consuming are running.
So this must be a flaw in PSP X2.
The popup suggests to "adjust the memory setting".
Where can I adjust it in detail?
Thank you
Peter Steiner

Perhaps due to the 32bit limitation?
You should load the PSP2021 64bit trial and test if you receive the same warning. 64bit programs are able to manipulate bigger files.

Re: How to prevent 'Not enough memory' warning popups?
pstein . . . Hard disk space is not memory — it is storage space. Your actual memory (live, working) is your 16G RAM. Try what the warning also suggested "close other running programs & try again". Also, another 16G RAM (Random Access Memory) will work wonders for large files. What Jean-Luc suggested is also a possible fix since a 32 bit program can access only 4GB RAM total
