Text Cutter
Hi, I am running into an issue with the PaintShop Pro text cutter that I think could be a bug. I am opening up an image, adding text, using the text cutter, then applying a chisel and shadow effect to the text. The problem is it automatically cuts the text too close and when it does it cuts off some of the chisel effect and some of the drop shadow... Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks!

Shape cutter uses the outline and fill of the text only, not the layer. So if the chisel and drip shadow extend beyond the stroke and fill of the vector text it won't be included in the cutout.
If you want to include the shadow and chisel you need to use a more manual option to select the area if the layer and then hide the text layer, use that selection to copy the image merged and paste as new image.
