Windows 10 Technical Preview compatibility

Has anyone else tried if PaintShop Pro X7 works with Windows 10 Technical Preview?

I used to have X3 with Windows 7. After installing W10 TP it stopped working. I tried installing trial version of X7 and it installed without errors, but when I try to open it, it just shows blank window with "loading". Exiting that brings you back to "buy full version" dialogue. I tried both installation and startup with Windows 8 compatibility mode with no change.

Any other experiences?

The fact that Windows 10 is only a beta version right now. The full version won't be available until April or May so I think we should wait until the development is complete. Also, I'm sure the PSP development team are well aware of the new version of windows. I think it calls for a little patience.

In fact, as long as you had installed the latest patch (patch5) for PSPX3 and you can get compatibility support for Windows 8/8.1 even Windows 10. But please be informed we did not guarantee the patch can make PSPX3 work well with WIN10 final version in later of this year.

In case you don't know where can download the patch. Here is the shared link. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/546 ... Patch5.exe

Does the patch make it work even with Windows 10 beta?

I've just been watching the Win10 review on youtube.
Looks and sounds great. I'm a Win7 user now. Not interested in Win8 at all. More for social media users like facebook, twitter and the like. No interest at all in that tripe.
Win10 though seams to have looked more into both worlds this time.

I build and create texture for 3D models that we use in PC games. Racing games that is. rfator, Asetta Corsa.. eg. I use paintshop over photoshop. Though photoshop is used I like paintshop more.

I'm interested in using Win10 but I think I'll be building a new PC first.

But on the subject, It's not right to expect a program that is built for Win7, Win8 to run trouble free on a OS that itself is still under development.
I'd have to agree with trueblue on this and say you'll need to be patient. Give the team at Coral time to build a compatible version. From what I could take from the Win10 review it's very different from what we've seen before in Windows OS.
I was told Win10 was doing away with 32 bit. But it seem this isn't right. MS are still working on it but the 64 bit has understandably taken top priority.

I haven't used it fully yet, but X7 and SP1 both installed on the latest Win 10 Build 9926. The program did open when I tried it.

X3 started working after installing patch 5, so everything is good for now. Thanks for all the answers.
