Installed WinDVDPro12 Update/Patch Now PROGRAM DOESN'T RUN!

A little while ago I purchased (against my better judgement) WinDVDpro12. Now that I have a BlueRay drive in my PC, I tried watching a disc with it this evening.

A window popped up stating I needed to download a patch from Corel so I can read a Blue Ray disc, which I did.

Errors displayed after the patch was installed, and now WinDVD won't even launch. The whole program is now unusable, and of course I can no longer download the program file through my account.

So Corel's suggested patch ruined Corel's program and Corel's website won't allow me to download and reinstall the program I purchased. I cannot afford to buy the latest version.

Is this something other users have experienced? I don't see any posts for the program newer than 2019, but I will ask folks here anyway...

Long story short, now ALL THREE Corel programs on my PC DO NOT WORK after installing the COREL SUPPLIED/RECOMMENDED PATCH!

They did send me a short-term link so I can reinstall the program but guess what?

I WON'T WORK.

It gets so far, then only gives me a cancel option. Video Studio and Paint Shop Pro now no longer work. Their phone # only gives a message stating due to COVID they are closed?? NO ONE is around to answer tech questions?

I can't even begin to explain how upset I am at Corel at this moment. I am praying tomorrow the online-tech staff will be working again and I will get SOME sort of info, as I have been adding screen shots, etc to the ticket all weekend.
