Hi Ken
First what version of PhotoMirage are you using?
The purchased version has a few more export options whereas the free version provided with PSP has some limitations
When you go to File Export the window shows a lot of options, if you see a “custom” option, far right then you have the full version.
Otherwise you can only use the presets. I would try the Gallery, that creates a Mpeg4

You could crop your original image to 16:9 ratio, 1920 x 1080 would be suitable
Then the final output should use the entire image to fill the video frame.

There is an option from Export to “Size Image to fill the frame” that will crop the image to 16:9, loosing detail top and bottom.
That option does not resize but crops the image.

You should experiment with those settings.

Thanks Trevor,I have the full version. With a file type of MP4, the 1920x1080 16.9 image size does what I want with a landscape image. What file size is it best to use for a portrait mode image?

Hi Ken
For portrait the program will create a video same size as the image.
Unless you choose another size, then the video will be stretched / distorted to the new size, not really what you want.

For all video we do not seem to have a choice of data rates, but a quality choice, Medium by default, then Low or High what is provided seems quite acceptable for a video file.
Not much to go wrong.
