Video Studio 2022 Wishlist

As always when a new version is released we provide a topic in which your wishes for the next version can be posted.
I would suggest to keep comments short and to the point, lengthy discussions using the Video Studio Forum.

The wishlist allows us to direct any visiting Corel development staff to just one topic to see what users want rather than wading through a few hundred posts.

To be able to copy clips that are on different tracks (underneath each other) and paste them so that VS does not transpose the column of overlays onto a single track. Even if this was just possible with Overlay tracks and did not include other track types it would be better than what it does now.

Redesign the Matte Modes section of the blending tab. make the box better so more masks can be seen. be able to view file name and location of mask. If mask is edited for it to be refreshed (so relinked in the same way as images are in Media)

Julie, I did report this to Corel 3 weeks ago and have now added your comments from here, then pointing Corel to this post

Feedback and Improvement tag in main menu
Provide a feedback and improvement tag in the main menu - either File or Help - said tag to include image attachment and go direct to the software dev/manager.
VS competition does this, helps assuage feelings of user frustration with a program issue; no reason why VS cannot do it .

What nice about previous VS's wishlists, that they are deleted every year so we can't recheck and see how hardly any of what asked for was actually implemented.

Do you recall anyone asking, in the last 5 years, for cartoon stickers?

They aren't deleted. They are still there. They are no longer stickies, though...

Just delete the AR Stickers folder

I don't know about licensing issues but they are just off the main installation to the "get for free" section, this I think is good as I would prefer also that MYDVD will be moved to that free section.

Robert, two of the plugins are now delivered to us via the Welcome Screen - Get More - Not exactly sure which ones, could be Scripts and Rotopen?
I have the trial installed and those are not provided so cannot check until I install the Full version again.
