VS 2021 Ultimate Multicam upgrade failed

Hello,
I ran the Upgrade by selecting the upgrade button inside VS 2021 Ultimate from the MultiCam Capture screen . It let me order the upgrade and it accepted payment then started the download and install. It terminated the installation with a message about not detecting Pinnacle Ultimate or Video Studio Ultimate and failed out. Which is odd since I was running the upgrade from Video Studio 2021 Ultimate.
Now I can not find the downloaded installer to retry the installation and the only option under upgrade is to buy the upgrade.
So, two questions.
1) Why did it fail when I clearly have the ultimate version.
2) Where is the download to re run the installer?

I do not know why the installation failed, you may have to contact Corel Support for their assistance here
We on the forums do not work for Corel, just users like you helping others with issues

If you go to the Welcome screen Get More, there is are categories to the right, select My Library, I am hoping the MCCXL is there.
All packs that we download end up in My Library, a good way to identify which we have installed
You should be able to install again, hope this helps

Hello All. Posting the solution to my problem in case it may help someone else.

Corel tech support turned out to be less than helpful but I got around the issue on my own.
From 30 years of working with and supporting software there are not a lot of installer issues I have not come across.
I did not want to do anything to cause problems for any fix Corel might have for me so I messaged them before doing anything else.
That is an important tip for any software installation problems you see. Especially with newly released versions like Video Studio 2021. Doing a bunch of things trying to fix an issue before contacting support makes it very difficult to fix in some instances where there might have been a simple fix otherwise.

It took them three days to respond and tell me to redownload MultiCam and try again. 99% of the time this is a stall tactic because the tech has no idea what the problem is. Giving them the 1% benefit of the doubt I redownloaded from the link they provided and it was the exact same version with the exact same problem.

They had their shot and failed. So, from the installer error message it was displaying, it was a good chance that the installer had not been updated to recognize VS 2021 Ultimate. Since I had purchased many versions over the years, I installed VS 2019 Ultimate side by side with VS 2021 Ultimate. NOTE: Many programs will not allow side by side versions to be installed so my work around would not work for them.
Then when I installed MultiCam, it saw the VS 2019 Ultimate and the installer was happy and upgraded MultiCam lite in VS 2019 Ultimate and VS 2021 Ultimate. Since it is installed in a generic location 2019 and 2021 just point at it and installing it for one version installs it for all versions.
Then VS 2021 Ultimate opens the full version from the menu inside the editor. And uninstalling the old 2019 version did not uninstall MultiCam.

Hope they fix it soon but till then, this should work if you have an older version of VS ultimate to install long enough to install MultiCam.
