I hace VS, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
I was surprised to find very few templates as compared to the earlier versions. For example, the Beginning templates in an earlier version may have ~ 30 templates, and the 2020 has 10.
I got on with a tech support guy who remoted to the computer to try to import earlier ones. He was unsuccessful and ended up saying they apparently cannot be imported.
Anyone find the same thing? Of have suggestions?

Re: VS 2020> few templates > Import from earlier vers?
A bit of a minefield I am afraid
The libraries for 2019/2020 had a major update, I do not have 2018 installed to check.
Many of the templates seemed to be duplicated where Beginning and Middle/End were also included in the Complete section, so I guess most are still available one way or another.
you would expect the templates to be all the same format, but not so, some templates are saved within their own folders, others the files used are fragmented through the programs samples, so difficult to replicate.
Some templates are simple Instant Projects where others are FastFlick versions unfortunately they look the same.
I mentioned the program library being updated, this includes providing what we assume is to be a common share folder so only one image version for all programs rather than one per program, seems a good idea and I believe will be when Corel get it right. This is the folder I refer to C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Content
Unfortunately there are some issues with the Image / Video Sample file locations, another story.
Copying Instant Project Templates can be done where the template is wrapped in its own folder, look here
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018\EditingStyle\InstantProject
You can always run 2018, drag an Instant Project to the timelines
File Export as Instant Project will create a copy of the template saved here
C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate
Finally from the Corel Guide Do More / Get More there are 3 Template packs available + a Graphics pack
For older VS versions these are downloaded one at a time, without counting I think about 70
Are there any templates you are particular interested in and wish to use.

@lata...Thanks so much for the detailed response. I really appreciate it.
Regarding specific templates, no, not necessarily. I think that the suggestion about exporting will be helpful.
@ Pepi...Yes, I do realize that. I have gotten a free one on occasion.
