MP4 audio file comes out as clicks and noise...

I am fairly new to video editing...and I have an issue I need help.
I am running VideoStudio 2020 Ultimate on a Windows 10 computer. I create YouTube videos using a Canon M50 and GoPro Hero 7 Black cameras. I shoot in 1080p 30FPS. Everything works great.
Now I need to use two MP4 video files that came from another source (long story). And the video works great...but the audio comes out as just clicks and noise.
I think I know the problem. My M50 and GoPro footage has these specs:
Audio Type: MPEG AAC Audio
Attributes: 48000 Hz, 16 Bit Stereo
Bit Rate: 256 Kbps
But these two MP4 files show this for audio:
Audio Type: MPEG AAC Audio
24000 Hz, 16 Bit Mono
Bit Rate: 48 Kbps
Is there some way to convert the audio to make it compatible? Or am I missing something else ??
