Hey everyone,
I placed a simple transition between 2 clips ( folds over to the next clip) but it does it to fast and cuts off a bit of the first clip.
How do I fix that please?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Transition Question
That is what transitions are supposed to do: cut off a bit from the end of the first clip and bit from the start of the second clip. If you really need to show that bit from the end of the first clip you would need to either extend the first clip by a few frames or insert another very short clip between the end of the first clip and the second clip and insert the transition over that -- though you could then get a message saying there were insufficient frames for the transition to take effect.

Re: Transition Question
You could also take a photo of the start of your second clip, insert that between the two clips and transition into the photo so that you go straight into your second clip without cutting off the start of your second clip.

Re: Transition Question
Hi Henry
If the transition is to fast then it is simply the length of the transition
You can change that length by selecting the transition then dragging the trim bar, or with the transition selected change the duration on the clock top left of the options panel
You can set the default duration from Preference (F6) Edit tab – Transition Effects options – set the time in seconds.
You can also set the Default Transition Effect, by default is Random.
