Screen capture not recording menu items in FL Studio

Hi all,

I have searched the forum as well as google and cant seem to find the answer I am looking for so I will post here.

Screen Capture is not recording menu items in FL Studio

I am recording a series of video tutorials for the audio production software FL Studio. I have duplicated the problem in two version of FL Studio, FL Studio 8 & FL Studio 9. I start a screen capture and everything is recording fine. Part of my tutorial includes selecting a menu item in FL Studio. After my recording is finished I am noticing that the menu (dropdown) is not displayed in the screen capture. I can see the mousing clicking the menu items but the menu is not displaying. All other aspects of screen capture are working perfect.

I am using Corel Video Studio X5. No updates to the program have been made, the computer I am using it on was only connected to the internet during activation.

What is FL Studio?

This is a user-to-user forum, so it's unlikely that anybody here knows how the menus are generated in Video Studio.

It sounds like a problem with FL Studio. It might have something to do with the overlay feature of your video card, but that's just a wild guess... And, I have no idea what the solution would be.

Thanks for the replies, fl studio is an audio production program. If it helps at all I was able to record the video successfully in camstudio but the quality of the video studio file is much better. I would prefer to use video studio if I can.

Well, I believe video studio is the best option for you.. HQ video and HQ sound...
