VideoStudio Pro X3 and DVD

Is the rendering time any better for DVD? Are there any new improvements for video correction? I author with other software which I find much better-TmpGenc TDA. Therefore, I am solely interested in editing aspects.

VideoStudio Pro X3 and DVD

I have seen many complaints regarding HD video, but I would like to know if these rendering and burning problems apply to Standard DVD, which I prefer? Is it worth the upgrade from X2 to X3 as it pertains to DVD video?

Ripple Effect Failure

I turned on "Ripple Effects" for all. Then I added some clips and then text.
Now, I added some transitions. When I looked at the time line, all the text disappeared. Any ideas? Using X2 Pro

I used "Any Video Converter" to convert a mpg to swf, which in turn did not play the sound. Apparently, VS did not like the audio in the swf file as it did not list it under properties as is normally done. I just learned something-thank you.

SWF file no sound

I have an swf file that contains sound and plays in my media player. However, VS X2 plays the (swf) but, without the sound. Is this beyond VS's capability? Horizontal Flip

dalemccl

I placed all the files from the FXBench folder, that was installed on my computer into the corel\..\vft_plugin folder. Did you do that, or just leave it as installed outside of VideoStudio?
Hopefully that will do it.

Just found Burger in filters-not in All. All it gives me is a cube on the screen-no choice for filters. Still-no good.
Customize Filter does not appear on the screen-cannot select.

Horizontal Flip FXbench

Cannot see filter(FXbench) in VS X2. Tried various things: 1. Dumped directory(FXBench) into vft_plug-no good 2. Dumped files into vft_plug-no good 3. Just placed FXbench.vft into-no good Just guess I'll have to use "Virtual Dub" as this is inoperable. Also, when used independently, I get a blank sc...

Flip video horizontally

In VS X2 you can rotate objects, but there seems to be no way to flip them horzontally. I must take clips and use "Virtual Dub" to do the flip.
