You can setup a menu template with the proper sizing, and then save that as a menu template in your library.

For SD-DVD, using a Thumbnail Menu, make sure you display the Chapter Menu, and double-click on the thumbnail.

Firstly MPEG4 is a highly compressed format and although VideoStudio can convert it to MPEG2 so that it can create a VideoDVD it takes hours. My first suggestion is to convert the MPEG4 to MPEG2 using a third party converter. Use Google and you will find several, many are free. I don't think the OP...

What are your system specs?

Are you exporting DV .avi from Premiere? The 9:26 reminds me of a 2gb limit along time ago on some file systems (there was a 2gb and 4gb limit with FAT32 discs -- and that duration for a DV .avi would be roughly 2gb).

Which version of DVDWS are you using?

In DVDWS2.x, double-click the First-Play video, then close to the top on the left side, there is a checkbox to "Force First Play"

I don't really have any first hand experience/knowledge with the event. So, without doing any real research on what really happens, my thoughts are a "party" atmosphere, with folks handing out necklace beads for a quick "flash" from women. A little "worse" than the spring break college crowd... But ...

As Devil says -- it is not possible ( in DVDWS ). The feature you are looking for is known as "Chapter Playlists" (the Playlists in DVDWS are Title Playlists). If you require smooth "Playall" video, and if your video is less than about ~half the size of a DVD5 disc (assuming you are using DVD5), the...

Look in the temp folders that DVDWS uses for your converted titles -- you can re-use them for future projects.

When you go to Author the DVD, you can tell it what to do at the end of each Title (either go back to the menu, or continue to the next Title).

Re: (hand raised) I'm in!

I would love to see an update to this great software. For those of us that have a multi-monitor setup, I would like to see a customizable interface that will allow me to utilize both monitors. I think that would be a great option/feature. Just like other Editing/Authoring applications allow you to ...

I believe DWS2.x automatically figures out if it needs to create a MultiVTS DVD (when you have compliant videos, and do not want to re-encode them).

There's a limit of 36 buttons per 4:3 menu -- are you hitting that limit :?: (I know you said 35th button, but the menu might have other buttons such as "Home" or "Next Menu"...)
