Re: Screen Recording: Microphone AND System Audio?

What you want to do can be done with Corel VSP X6 but it requires you to change some of your Audio settings to make it work. Also, note that VSP X6 would not be the preferred method for game capture, other devoted software like Fraps, Bandicam, etc. are much better. VSP X6 should be used in post to ...

Re: Advise for using filter -- flash of lamps

Unfortunately, there is no way off removing the light streaks. This is very common in low light shooting and is not a camera defect.

This article might help with future shooting.

Re: Motion Tracking - Keep object centered

Unfortunately, this cannot be done in VSP X6. It could probably be done in Adobe After Effects using its tracker controls or Warp stabilizer, 3D camera, parenting tracker data to null objects and use of expressions but I have never tried it. In addition to my earlier advice, one might want to do all...

Re: Motion Tracking - Keep object centered

One could manually keyframe using VSP X6's Customize Motion feature. Right click your clip on Track 1 and select Customize Motion. Set the Size X & Y values to 100 for the first and last frame by clicking on the diamond. Now, you're ready to start keyframing. First, I would cheat and put a piece of ...

Re: Any way to do an animated clock?

Brian has provided some options. Here's some more. Depending on the footage, one could use Robotiq Timecode filter in VSP. Found here: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=12610 I say footage because it was written for SD footage and not HD. So if decide to use with HD, you are limited to ...

Re: De-fisheye?

Bill, In VSP X6, I agree with Lata that the FX Pinch filter is probably the way to go. Or... If you want to try using freeware software with Barrel Distortion Correction plugin, you could try this. http://skisoo.com/blog/en/2012/how-to-remove-the-fisheye-effect-from-gopro-hero-2-videos-with-free-sof...

Re: Moving logo on map

Simon, In VSP X6 it is easy. Put your road map on Video track 1. Then place your object/logo on the Overlay track. If your logo contains an alpha channel then the background will be transparent and overlay perfectly on the map. Example: White alpha circle Download here: http://www.clker.com/clipart-...

Re: Highlighting a moving object?

Here is the sample created with VSP X6 Track Motion. Mailbigfile Untitled2.wmv download will be available for 10 days http://mbf.me/N9owW0 Also, I would like to add that Corel VSP X6's Motion Tracker was pretty accurate. It performed just as well as Adobe After Effects CS3's Tracker Controls in my t...

Re: Looping a video on a thumb drive?

There is no loop setting that can be applied to the video file like one can when authoring a DVD-Video Disc. The TV will recognize the USB drive and use its own proprietary player to play the media. Newer TVs have a loop feature and in this case they may have one that does. Unfortunately, yours does...

Re: Looping a video on a thumb drive?

Is the thumb drive going to be played from a PC or a set-top box? In any case, one should be able to set the media player's setting to loop. Example: Windows Media Player = Repeat/Ctrl T

Just a follow up. I was able to create a highlight marker with VSP X6's New Track Motion feature. Method used. Wildlife.wmv on timeline. Used Track Motion and put crosshair on center of white horse body, click Red dial to create tracked motion path and click OK. Next, click Video tab/Color Correctio...
