Re: VSX7 time-lapse video mp4 quality issues
I see the cropped screenshots with the unusual artifacts just like you. The problems are I do not see them exhibited in any of your provided videos when viewing and possibly the way the screenshots were taken. The screenshot capture software could have applied some anti-flickering or smoothing that ...

Re: VSX7 time-lapse video mp4 quality issues
I too, downloaded your SmartPackaged files and saw no visible visual artifacts, pixelation or blockiness. IMO, they look pretty good. I went back and looked at your cropped screenshots and did not see any of your noted problems. Seems like your GPU's settings-Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering m...

Re: DVD troubles with resolution and aspect ratios....
Mark, If I am following you correctly, the original aired footage was SD 4:3 and you have created a SD 4:3 DVD. Are you viewing your SD 4:3 DVD on a 16:9 TV? If so, it is very likely you have both your DVD player and TV set for 16:9 viewing, which would be correct thus stretching the picture to fill...

Re: VSX7 time-lapse video mp4 quality issues
Trevor states 1 frame (480) @ 30fps = 16 secs.
*Rendering the 480 frames @ 25fps = 19.2 secs.

Re: morphing faces Corel Video Studio X7
To do this effect in VSP would probably require a lot of trial and error with the fade transition, masking and keyframing or motion tracking possibly if there is movement. You might want to use WinMorph freeware program to create the morphed file and import it into VSP. http://www.debugmode.com/winm...

Re: stabilisation of Video
As Ken replied, the Ultimate version comes with the Mercalli stabilizer plugin. You could give freeware a try too.

Re: Best HD rendering format for Windows XP
WMV-HD works. Depending on their CPU and GPU, you might have to drop from 1920x1080 to 1280x720p for seamless playback. Other option would be to create a high bitrate MPEG-1 file.
Hope this helps,

Re: Batch Convert and apply FX?
I don't know if this will help what you are trying to achieve but you could try this. Import clip and apply desired filter to clip and save project and repeat naming each project differently. Now use Batch Convert option and Add each project file to your list and Convert. Once complete you should ha...

Re: VSX7 time-lapse video mp4 quality issues
I just installed by default and the HUFFYUV.DLL resides on C:\WINDOWS\system32. Mind you, I am using CVSPX6 and the way to get to the Huffy codec is to Share>Create Video File>Custom>Save as type: Microsoft AVI files (*avi)>Options>Under AVI tab Compression: Use dropdown and select Huffyuv v2.1.1. A...

Re: VSX7 time-lapse video mp4 quality issues
Have you thought about rendering your time lapse project in CVSPX7 to an uncompressed avi or an avi using HuffYUV 2.11 codec? Then use an external encoder to create your mp4 file. Personally, I use Quicktime Pro to create mov and mp4 files. Or you could try freeware like Super, HandBrake, etc. It's ...

Re: VideoStudio X7 and Debugmode FrameServer
gca, GOOD NEWS! I just confirmed DebugMode FrameServer 2.14 worked using Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 and TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress. Using the Ulead Video Studio plugin, one needs to direct installation to the correct location. Example: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X6\vio P.S. I had always inst...

Re: BD disc menu not playing on some players
Since you have had successful play on a set-top player, this rules out user error with the software in the menu creation and authoring process. Most likely, the problematic BD players are in need of updating their firmware. Samsung BD players are notorious of having these issues. Google "BD player p...
