Re: PIX3 - Setting to determine where photo window opens

Thanks very much Ron. What I'm looking for, though, is a setting that will get it to open there all the time. Do you have any idea what details of the photo help PI X3 "decide" where it actually opens the image? Does it have anything to do with the image size or shape? I ask because sometimes pictur...

PIX3 - Setting to determine where photo window opens

Hi from Berlin, PhotoImpact X3 works fine on my Win7 x64 machine, but I have a little issue. When I open a photo to edit, the window it opens in is somewhere/anywhere in the main window. I'd like it to always open in the top left corner. Is there a setting or something that will do this? Here's a pi...

X7 Pro - Build 17.1.0.22 the newest?

Just wondering, is build 17.1.022 of X7 Pro the newest? If not, how can I get the newest one?

Thanks.

Re: X3 print preview page dimensions problem

I see there hasn't been any action on this issue for about a year, but I'll try my luck anyway. I recently purchased an HP 305 0 A and am having the same problem. I'm in Germany and use A4 paper. I've also tried all the tips given to the original poster. The problem isn't only the print preview: the...

Re: BurnStar DLL

Thanks Ken. I've reworded my posting to focus more on my particular situation. My point was actually that people should read the error message carefully, but I see now that my text was too general. When I wrote "your mileage may vary" I meant that other people with other systems and needs will have ...

Re: BurnStar DLL

I'm using the 64-bit version of VideoStudio Pro X7 on Win7. I was having a problem with BurnStarR.dll, too. Whenever I switched from Edit to Share, I would get an error message saying that BurnStarR.dll had crashed. My machine would then freeze for a minute. Then, however, everything would work as i...

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7

I, too, think a true 64-bit version that takes advantage of everything this architecture offers is due. At the beginning of this thread, it was argued in defense of the 32-bit version that "most people still use XP". XP is going to "die" at the beginning of April, and I think 64-bit Win 7 (or 8, or ...

Re: Batch Editing

Thanks very much for your reply. There's a free program called Video to Video that does this, but of course it's much less powerful overall than VideoStudio.

To me it's a very useful feature, and I'm going to suggest it for the next VideoStudio version.

Batch Editing

I've looked around the forum and the Internet, but I haven't found a solution. I have five short (10 min. each) mpg vids that I want to convert individually to mp4 (i.e. in the end I want five separate videos). All of them are a bit dark (the degree of darkness is the same for all) , and I'd like to...

Re: Running VideoStudio X6 with two graphics cards?

FWIW, ... Thanks for your input Ken. ... it still can only use that one card at a time. The Matrox software is really good overall, but it doesn't offer any help in this case I guess. Though I have trouble capturing audio using VS's screen capture facility, I think that has more to do with my audio...

Yes to first question and deleted your previous threads for you. Thank you very much. I'm afraid I don't run two graphics cards, so cannot be of help to you in your specific problem. Again, thank you for taking the time to help. This may help, here is a member of Corel replying to another post, try...
