Well, today Undo works for me too. I must have triggered the problem yesterday by pressing some key combination, maybe, while trying to press CTRL-Z.

Re: ridiculous bug
If instead you split the second clip, Undo becomes useless. You won't be able to undo the last edit or any earlier edits.

Re: Matching video clips from two sources
The following might work if you have VS 2019, since LUTs are involved. Search on the internet for something like "how to create a LUT from an image." You would supply an image from source A to create a LUT, then apply the LUT in VS 2019 to source B. In the LUT program I use, Briz Creative Look from ...

Re: Videostudio 2019 Service Pack Now Available
Supposedly SP2 fixed problem with Lens Correction not having a Save Custom preset button. Now that I have installed SP3, I still don't see a way to name and save a custom preset. Every clip on the timeline has to have the intrinsic parameters set up from scratch -- and that's ridiculous.

Re: Roto Pen question
In VS 2019 at least, you can create a straight path in RotoPen. It involves dragging one path away from another joined path. You can simply draw a short line, release the mouse button; without moving the mouse, push the mouse button and draw another short line. There will be a node where the two pat...

Re: 2019 Update - How to turn off ripple editing?
I uninstalled VS 2019 with SP2, then I installed again. I thought that all the installation files already downloaded on my machine would be used again; however, the installation files were downloaded again. The version number was the same. One difference I've noticed in my favor is that I'm able to ...

Re: 2019 Update - How to turn off ripple editing?
Seems to work for me, have you tried clicking on the little icon which looks like two chain links at the very left end of each timeline, mine turns blue when on and white when off I don't have a problem getting the icon to turn blue or white, it's just that no matter which it is, there is always ri...

Search for files with .cube as the file extension. You may have some of these files from the installations of other applications, such as Adobe Photoshop. You can also create .cube files in Adobe Photoshop CS 2018.

With the first update to VS2019, how do you turn off ripple editing? It seems to be permanently on.

Re: One of many items that VS 2019 needs
I just noticed that when all tracks have ripple edit enabled, and I move the clip on the Video track over to the right, the clips on the other tracks don't ripple. But if I enable ripple on all tracks except the last track (Music), then ripple works when I move the Video clip. Since "Delete All Gaps...

Re: 2019 bug
I have the same problem with the Storyboard, and found that using "Close All Gaps" seems to put the clips in the correct order. For example, in Storyboard, after rearranging the clips, right-click in the last square that has "Drag Video Clips Here", then select "Close All Gaps" from the pop-up menu....

Undocumented Feature
There's an undocumented feature where you can create a node(s) on a motion arrow, and then move the node to a new position, as in this video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/tb9xPAues8c This allows you to create a back-and-forth motion. That's about as complicated as I get. But you can get even more com...

Have copy and paste selected items.
Allow text entry for properties of arrows, such as strength and direction.
Fix up some of the undocumented abilities so they can be documented.
Have real-time editing during playback.
