Re: Creating photobooks
Sorry, I haven't used Blurb. But I use Shutterfly. You may find that Shutterfly is pretty easy to use and the pages permit a fair amount of customization. I have also made "pages" for my Shutterfly books in PSP. On the Shutterfly website you can download page templates for their books (in PS format....

Re: Blotchy Images on Export
As I have (more or less) migrated to another program for the majority of my "bread and butter" editing, this is the first time I used the new PSP. I think it had a super high compression setting by default. So that is changed now! Like I said, never occurred to me.

Re: Blotchy Images on Export
Well DUH! Can't believe I missed that. I never mess with quality settings and always leave them all the way up for projects I will print.....don't know what happened but it was all the way down to total compression. As I don't mess with that setting, I didn't even check it out. Thanks for pointing m...

Blotchy Images on Export
Capture PSP.JPG Capture Orig.JPG Hi and TIA for any help. I am working on a holiday card. I created a blank red space. Then I took a photo and put it roughly in the center of the red space, then added text. Saved it as a PSP image. Both the photo and the PSP file look fine in PSP. However, when I c...

Re: Minor Glitch in Layer Styles?
Thanks for the idea. I tried Delete All Cache Files and that didn't help. Yes, I am using PSP2018. Ah well, not the end-all but would be nice if it worked. Hopefully they will iron it out.

Minor Glitch in Layer Styles?
I have created a layer with text. I am exploring various layer styles (bevel, inner glow etc.) It used to be I could check: Preview on Image and check and uncheck various effects. Now however, if I select bevel (for example), check Preview on Image, then uncheck bevel and try to check another style,...

Re: Can an existing drawn line be made wider
Thanks for the info. As even the data which appear to be in Google Earth is light years ahead of what I've been doing to get maps, I'll start with that (and I don't have a Garmin.) So, we'll see where that leads.

Re: Can an existing drawn line be made wider
Thanks for the responses. Levi, that's the info I was looking for. JPArnold, I was puzzled by your initial posts. First you were talking about Google Earth, then changing lines in Google Earth, then Mapsource, then additional programs mentioned in a Google search. So I really had no idea what you we...

Re: Can an existing drawn line be made wider
Hmmmmm. This looks like a very interesting idea for one of my travel books. Never thought of it and don't use Google much. So, before I jump off the pier and download software that may not do what I want: You can download Google Earth, select places you have been and get a map with interconnected li...

Re: Disappearing Palettes
After several weeks of being told various ways to reinstall my software, Corel finally did a controlled take-over of my computer. While I found a vague reference (beyond what was above) to resolution, nothing concrete came up. Got a "push" in the right direction and found I could move my palettes to...

Re: Making Collages
Not sure this is helpful, but I also make collages. I generally have my collage image open, then open the photo I wish to add, do select all, copy, past as a new layer. That gives me a lot of flexibility to move and resize the layer (which you may have already had with your older version of PSP.) So...

Re: Disappearing Palettes
In Win 10 (my main monitor is quite large and my secondary is one of the older pair I was using) has the second monitor set for 100% and doesn't go any higher. My NVIDIA control panel allows me to pick different resolutions and I picked a slightly smaller resolution so the print would appear larger....
