Re: From PSP 2019 32x to PSP 2019 64x

When you first installed VS 2019, you should have been given the option of installing both 32 and 64 bit versions. This was even recommended. So you would have had to have made a conscious choice to only install the 32 bit version. Can you remember if you did? Or did you just let the installation pr...

Re: Video Clips Altered

The originals of those blue video/images should still be on your computer where you originally stored them. Editing is virtual, so the originals are untouched. The thumbnails in your library window should also be linked to the originals, so I would have thought simply dragging the thumbnail from the...

Re: Particle Shop - forum? Latest version?

What you see is what you get, I'm afraid. Particle Shop is not handled by our forum, although it has been shipped with some versions of PSP. It is part of the Painter community so have a look at https://painterfactory.com/

Re: Video Clips Altered

A couple of comments. First, 'project specs' or project properties are what govern the editing process and often also the rendering process. You will find them under Settings > Project Properties. Second, your timeline. I too am not sure what that blue represents as I haven't seen it before. Could y...

Re: No project message when inserting to timeline??

No. After selecting Custom, then on the dropdown menu you select "Quicktime movie files (.mov)". Then you click on that little options cogwheel, and 24 fps should show on the General tab. On the Compression tab select 'MPEG-4 Visual'. Make sure you slide the quality slider across to 100 from its pre...

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

Interesting. I just opened the image in the Photos app of Win 10, copied it and then in PSP 2021 pasted it as a new image as hartpaul did, and got the message saying it was not supported as it was currency. Just to be sure, I went to File > Open, and the image opened as it had before with no warning...

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

That's the exact same message I got -- and mentioned above -- in Corel Painter X7 (part of the DRAW X7 suite). So it is even stranger -- for me at least -- to get this response from one Corel program but not another; and equally strange that Painter gives the message where its sister program (DRAW X...

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

Yes, can add text. Haven't tried to wipe out 5 but have placed 6 over it. And then saved it. No problems. Using PSP 2021 for this.

And as you can see, I can post it here!

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

Further to my post above, Corel Paint X7 actually brings up a message box saying "This application does not support the unauthorized processing of banknotes." I also did some further playing around in CorelDRAW X7 and finally got the image to open using Import. No warning message came up. But it see...

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

That's curious. I have no difficulty opening that 500 euro photo in PSP 2019, 2020 and 2021. Those are the three versions I have on this computer. It also opens in Painter 2019 and Painter Essentials 7. However, it will not open in DRAW X7 using File > Open. It suggests using Import, but that option...

Re: No project message when inserting to timeline??

Yes. No trouble downloading that one. And no trouble inserting it in both the VS library and timeline. But trying to render it 'Same As First Video' was greyed out, and since I didn't get a message asking if I wanted the project properties to match, that option was out too. So I went to Share > Cust...

Re: No project message when inserting to timeline??

For some reason nothing shows when I click on your link. I notice is says "preview". Did you actually upload the test clip into Dropbox?

spudgun wrote:Ken, can you advise where I can send you a clip for testing please? I will send a very short example.
As I said, you would need to upload it to a service like Dropbox or the equivalent like Google Drive, which accept large files. They allow others then to download from them.

Re: No project message when inserting to timeline??

I can only agree with canuck. What the engineer told you is nonsense. Yes, Apple no longer support development of QT for PCs. But as I told you last month, you can still load the .mov codec and use it in VS. I have just done a test using it in VS 2021, and set for 4K 3840 x 2160 at 25p. It processed...
