Re: No reasonable upgrade path

Hi Folks I realized belatedly after purchasing X10 pro that I wanted Ultimate edition. However there appears to be no upgrade path that is reasonable. Picture this - a full bundle of X10 Pro is USD 63.99 after discount while a full bundle of X10 Ultimate is usd 79.99 - which makes a difference of u...

Re: VideoStudio X7 crashes at launch.

Welcome to the forums, I have X7 installed, running Win10 and have no problems. Are you running Windows Defender or some other anti-virus program? I don't use Windows Defender. I also exclude VS and my photo editing apps from my anti-virus. You might have a look and see how to exclude them in your a...

Re: VideoStudio X9 and X10 crashes on Rendering

Did you install the whole K-lite codec pack? If so that may be a problem. Try uninstalling the pack and see if there's any improvement.

Re: Audio Panning 'over time' in X10 ?

I was adding to my previous post when you replied.

You can mute a clip by clicking on the speaker icon to the left of the track selector in the sound mixer. That way you can isolate the one you're adjusting.

Re: Audio Panning 'over time' in X10 ?

Troy, Audio panning is possible, and Corel's tutorial you linked to does show how it's done. It is not very intuitive. Here's a tutorial made using VSX8 by Gripps. It's a lot better. VS Pro 8 Working in Surround Sound Basically you need to be in Project mode when you move one of the sound icons. The...

Re: Overlapped buffer is full? Error message

Hi Troy, Sorry for the delay in replying. I read your post yesterday and scratched my head as to what may have been causing it. You did however proceed correctly in troubleshooting and I commend you for doing so, and really appreciate you posting your finding. VS is very picky when it comes to audio...

Re: Overlay issues with pixelation

For your overlay image, what size/dimensions is it? It should be at least the same size in pixels as your video. It's always best to resize image files in photo editing software, as they are designed for that, they just do a much better job than VS. Next since you mention the black bars , those are ...

Re: Free Upgrade To PSP X7

I'm getting the same notice. Clicking on the popup window does nothing. So I grabbed the location of the file and pasted it into both IE 10 and Edge, nothing happens with IE, but edge wants me to find an app that can open a pcucmd file. I've contacted Corel, still waiting on a response... so we'll ...

Re: Raw Photography

Yep, I agree hartpaul. I've read too many times of people having problems with transferring images directly from the camera, where they get corrupt in the process, plus it just seems much slower. Much safer and better to copy/paste them from the SD card. Plus the second thing I've read about, camera...

Re: Corel VS can't handle 120 fps video?

I think this has been addressed in This Thread.

You're comparing Premiere Pro to VS? That's like comparing a Rolls Royce to a Ford. Certainly it's going to be able to do things, a lot of things, better than VS. Have a look at thread I linked to for explanation on the 120fps iPhone issue.

Have a look at this one. It's not very pro looking. I put it together using Swishmax. You stated it needed to be like the falling leaves animation in VS.

Re: .swf animations

Well I do have the perfect program for what you're trying to do. It's called SwishMax, developed and sold only by Swishzone.com. Problem is, it is no longer available, they closed down last year I think. I done a google search for flash animation software. Here's some I found. 1). Best Free/Open Sou...

Re: Free Upgrade To PSP X7

I have no idea how Corel manages their messages. What you're showing comes from some website that uses Google Tag Manager. I'm certain it did not come from Corel. I would contact Corel, and show them the screenshot of the offer. Play dumb, I mean it purports to be Corel's offer. Don't hold your brea...
