Re: Repair broken MP4 file
Pepi, Never seen that error message with FFmpeg. Here's a possible fix: https://recoverit.wondershare.com/video-repair/moov-atom-not-found.html Best recovery steps I've seen with FFmpeg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3nWw9aX5kw If FFmpeg fails, don't throw in the towel yet. I've had success using...

Re: Video Capture USB or PCI Card
Aren't you capturing using HuffyUV AVI? VideoStudio is more than capable of editing and denoising the HuffyUV files and then encode to your desired format.

Re: Recorded Zoom files
In my world your advice does not apply. Due to the pandemic, the norm for legal depositions is Zoom with timestamp. Content is only shared amongst privileged parties and the Court. Private or unlisted YouTube channels/videos can be compromised.

asik1,
YouTube trimmer requires YouTube ID or Url. I guess your advice would be helpful for those trimming YouTube videos?

Re: Recorded Zoom files
My experience with Zoom recordings is that it tries to optimize the recording based on one's screen resolution. I have an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with native Display resolution 1920x1080 and overclocked Refresh rate of 101 Hz. Try this: Test 1: Record 10-15 secords and stop recording. Look at your Zoom ...

dgvs19,
I totally agree with you. IMHO, VideoStudio Ultimate X9 was probably the most worthwhile upgrade from earlier versions and stable. From current offerings, VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 is the best.

Ulead/Corel also requires Quicktime for animated GIF support.

Re: Animated GIF as overlay?
Make sure you have Quicktime installed. Old Ulead software and now Corel require Quicktime to be installed to have animated gif support. Hope this helps.

Re: mp2 audio
I was able to accomplish this by frameserving using Corel VSPX6, DebugMode Frameserver & TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress. Created custom 4:3 MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 templates in TMPGEnc and could render out elementary streams as video only, audio only or both. Hope this helps.

Re: Slow motion cuts out frames
Sorry Trevor, You're correct. I did not check to see in the custom frame rate that it could not go higher than 60. For some reason, I thought I could in MSP with the advanced encoder enabled to the .ini file. Again, this would be no help to the poster. Thanks. Edit: Just tried with MSP and it could ...

Re: Slow motion cuts out frames
You do not need a converter, VS can create the image sequence all by itself. 1) Create a New folder anywhere on your desktop, My Documents, etc. to store desired images. 2) Insert Video to Timeline. 3) Share>Create Video File>Custom 4) Create Video File box prompt comes up, Make sure Save in: target...
